Job title: Certified Pool Technician/Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Chief Engineer

Job Summary

MUST HAVE A CURRENT CERTIFICATION IN CPO.

Maintain both the indoor pool/hot tub and kitty pool. Help maintain the 4 condo buildings, administration and Club House buildings in full operating conditions and make repairs as necessary.

Employment Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance and operations preferred.
• Requires the ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular and continuous basis.
• Grasping, standing, sitting, climbing, walking and other repetitive motions is required. Listening ability, visual acuity and good communication skills are necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the pools and lazy river in good operating and visual condition and monitor and maintain the chemical balance of all bodies of water.
• Assist with set-up of banquet rooms.
• Print and complete work orders daily.
• Maintain and repair the major equipment in all condos.
• Maintain the satisfactory condition of the interiors of the condos.
• Assist with deliveries as needed.
• Perform special projects and any special maintenance issues as directed by the Supervisor.
• Perform daily security checks on each shift.
• Maintain all tools and equipment issued to you or available for your use.
• Complete daily work report at the end of every shift and turn into the Administrative Assistant.

Other Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to be a self-starter.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time.
• Skills are required to perform multiple tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions.
• Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances
