J2EE SQL Developer
Introduction
The J2EE SQL Developer will be a part of the Business Automation Support unit within the Medicaid and CHIP Services Department, overseeing Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership systems and related support activities. The role involves developing, testing, and documenting computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs
- Analyze user requests for new or modified programs
- Consult with users to clarify program objectives
- Formulate plans for program development
- Lead and direct the work of others
- Facilitate interpersonal interactions involving design, development, testing, and implementation activities
- Develop systems test plans, test scenarios, and test processes
- Design and coordinate defect reporting and validation
- Understand data structures and database design concepts
