Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely and hygienically during meal prep and service
- Organize and stock ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with meal plating and presentation as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
