What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP ILM Architect position at Shrive Technologies?
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the SAP ILM architecture for BRIM data archiving and retention
- Define archiving strategy, data objects, retention rules, and lifecycle policies aligned with business and compliance requirements
- Lead ILM configuration and technical design, including object selection, rule assignment, and data flow design
- Work closely with SAP BRIM, S/4HANA, functional, technical, and BASIS teams to ensure seamless implementation
- Support data readiness, mock runs, validation, and production execution of archiving activities
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, legal hold, retention, and audit requirements
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to data volume, performance, and system stability
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and support teams
- Prepare and maintain architecture documents, technical designs, and runbooks
- Support cutover, go‑live, and post‑archiving validation activities
Skill Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience as an SAP ILM Technical Architect
- Proven expertise in SAP ILM architecture design, data archiving, and retention management
- Solid understanding of SAP BRIM and SAP S/4HANA data models
- Experience working on large‑scale archiving or system lifecycle management projects
- Strong knowledge of compliance, audit, data privacy, and legal retention requirements
- Excellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills
Other Requirements
Preferred / Secondary Skills
- Experience with SAP ILM Store, Retention Management, and Legal Hold
- Exposure to SAP BRIM modules (FICA, CI, Convergent Mediation)
- Experience working in regulated or audit‑driven enterprise environments
- Ability to work effectively in onsite–offshore delivery models
