What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manual Tester QA position at Shrive Technologies?
Experience in manual functional testing, black box / grey box testing
Analyzes requirements, coordinate with BA's / Subject Matter Experts.
Ability to review and understand functional requirements and technical design documents to the extent necessary to develop good test scripts.
Ability to create and execute medium to complex SQL queries
Identifies test conditions and / or creates test cases.
Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
Creates / Conditions test data for test execution.
Executes manual / automation tests according to the Test Plans.
Documents test results and report defects.
Identifies and reports risks.
Coordinates Onshore / Offshore as needed.
Manages day to day implementation of test process.
All assigned courses pertaining to new technical / domain / learning tasks are accomplished within defined time frame.
Must have sound understanding of software development and testing life cycle
Experience in defect reporting and management.
Proven experience of multiple software development approaches / methodologies (Waterfall/Iterative/Agile).
Functional Knowledge And Required Skills
should have hands on experience writing SQL Queries
Should have hands on experience on Test management tools like TFS
Good knowledge in Testing methodology/ Agile Methodology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Business expertise*
Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
