Detailed Job Description:
-Strong hand-on-experience with IBM DB2 for Z/OS and/or Datacom/DB in an application-focused (developer-aligned) capacity.
- Experience working with VSAM datasets and legacy mainframe data structures
- Proficiency in SQL tuning and query optimization (DB2)
- Solid experience with JCL development and troubleshooting
-Familiarity and mainframe data extraction/ unload utilities and batch processing
- Understanding of COBOL data structures and how applications interact with DB2/ Datacom
