Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to support strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, create dashboards, generate reports, and provide insights that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools.
- Interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to define reporting requirements.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
- Automate recurring reports and analytical processes where possible.
- Document data definitions, methodologies, and reporting standards.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience using Power Query, DAX, or advanced Excel features.
- Understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and reporting best practices.
- Relevant certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL are an advantage.
