Job Description
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitors and counts all stocked par levels throughout medical center and replenishes on a daily or as needed basis.
Develop and monitor economic order points and par level statistics and adjust to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Receives and process all incoming freight.
Coordinates, maintains and updates physical storerooms with system information, including bin locations and correct labels.
Assists in cycle counting per schedule and annual inventory as needed.
Establishes and maintains the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationships with all sales representatives.
Obtains complete descriptions, catalog numbers and correct pricing of supplies as needed.
Processes stock and non-stock requisitions as received and place orders within 24 hours.
Ensures supplies and equipment are delivered to requesting departments in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
2 years supply chain / materials management experience
Must have working computer ability/knowledge
Valid Ohio drivers license
Ability to consistently lift and move items up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge/experience with procurement, medical supplies, inventory control and purchasing procedures
