Job Overview
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. Position is per diem; days and weekend days.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
- Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
- Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
- Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
- Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
- Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.
