The Nurse Clinical Coordinator provides leadership, direction and clinical support to nursing staff to promote quality patient care and a safe work environment. The successful leader will monitor staff performance, attendance/tardiness, and professional work environment with a team approach. In this position, you'll be responsible for supervising orientation of new staff, educating staff on policies and procedures and always look for performance improvement opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree (BSN) required
Experience
3 years’ experience as pediatric acute care setting required
Other
1 years’ experience pediatric burns preferred
Active RN license in State of practice
BLS required
PALS required within 6 months of employment

- Serves as a clinical resource to staff
- Supervises, evaluates and promotes counseling to staff on their performance
- Supervises staff members of the Outpatient Department to assure patient needs are met
- Monitors quality of care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards of practice
