Posted: December 10, 2025 Closed: When filledEmployment Opportunity: Shrewsbury Public SchoolsPOSITION: Stipend ESL Teacher for Adult ESL Classes 2025-2026 School YearShrewsbury Public Schools is seeking an ESL teacher to teach English as a Second Language to parents and caregivers of Shrewsbury Public School students. We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.Candidates with diverse racial, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.The stipend for this position is $1,724.00 and will be paid at the end of the program. **Stipend is based on teaching 20 classes and will be adjusted accordingly if fewer classes are taught during the session.Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Position Requirements: Classes are in person and will be held at Calvin Coolidge Elementary School on Wednesdays 5:15pm-6:45pm.Classes are tentatively scheduled to begin in early January and will end in June.Adult ESL curriculum resources will be shared.Two teachers may share the teaching responsibilities, either through a co-teaching arrangement or a job-share arrangement.
