POSITION: Long-Term Substitute Family Consumer Science Teacher
Anticipated: May, 2026 through early November, 2026
Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Family Consumer Science Teacher for Shrewsbury High School, anticipated to begin in May and last through October of 2026. There is some possibility that the position will start sooner than May. The rate will be $280 per day.
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher leader who can continue the high
standards and quality of the program and can demonstrate a strong background
in teaching food preparation.

This is a Long-term substitute teaching position with salary consistent with the
Shrewsbury Education Association agreement.

Preferred:
• Provisional, Initial or Professional Licensure in Family Consumer Science
from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

• Strong knowledge of high school student’s developmental needs
• Cultivating a sense of community and belonging for all students
