Valet Attendant

The position requires a lot of running, parking can sometimes be several hundred yards from the venue. If you are not able to run to and from the cars for long durations at a time, this is not the job for you.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival
• Safely operate various vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, ensuring careful handling at all times
• Run for long distances, quickly and efficiently, so the guests aren't waiting too long to retrieve their vehicle from us
• Retrieve parked vehicles promptly upon guest request, maintaining efficiency during busy periods
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, offering directions, and ensuring a positive experience
• Maintain clear communication with team members to coordinate vehicle movement and parking logistics
• Uphold safety protocols by monitoring the parking lot, managing traffic flow, and reporting any safety concerns or incidents

Skills

• Must be 20 years old with a valid drivers license, clean driving record for the previous 3 years
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Strong guest services and hospitality skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Valid driving license with experience operating manual transmission vehicles (manual transmission experience not required, but helpful)
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members

This role is ideal for someone who already has a full or part-time job and is looking to make extra money. The schedule varies from week to week, usually Friday-Sunday (nights), with busy season from Jan-May and again from September-December. The hourly rate isn't very appealing, but the opportunity to make cash tips is what most of our employees rely on.
