What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Liaison Full Time Weekends position at Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital?
Position Summary:
The Clinical Liaison is a licensed clinical professional who serves as a coordinator between internal and external referral sources and acute inpatient rehabilitation operations. This role is open to licensed clinicians (RN, LPN, PT, OT, or SLP) and focuses on establishing relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. The Clinical Liaison ensures appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings and assessments in collaboration with both hospital Case Coordination and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director. This position works closely with hospital Case Coordinators and the acute inpatient rehabilitation admissions team to support a responsive and efficient referral and admission process.
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday, 10-hour shifts.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Clinical License (RN, LPN, PT, OT, or SLP)
Valid Driver’s License
Desired Qualifications:
Inpatient rehabilitation experience
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
