What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Shreveport North Hotel & Casino?
Responsibilities:
Responsible for garment sorting and finishing to include utilizing steam tunnel, pressing equipment and replacing buttons
Responsible for sorting of garments by classification and color. Finish all garments to a quality standard
- Maintain all quality and efficiency standards
- Monitor and maintain all safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure equipment malfunctions are detected and remedied
- Other related duties and tasks as assigned by Management

Experience
Preferred- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending
- Must be able to stand and walk for majority of a normal shift
- Six (6) months of experience in finishing/processing garments with experience on steam tunnel, pressers, and shirt units preferred
