Job Summary – Senior Java Developer (Santander, NYC)
- Hands-on coding, design, and testing for Rates and Credit eTrading platform
- Implement changes including ECN connectivity, pricing, RFQ processing, and STP
- Focus on low latency, performance, and capacity in messaging, data caching, data structures, and concurrency management
- Develop server-side Java applications
- Work with messaging technologies such as Solace, Kafka, Aeron, and MQ
- Perform SQL/database operations with MS SQL and Oracle
- Utilize DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and UrbanCode
- (Plus) Experience with AWS services: S3, SQS, SSM, KMS, etc.
- (Plus) Minimum 2 years of application development in Front-Office Fixed Income, Equities, or FX trading platforms
- Position is long-term contract, onsite in NYC (3-4 days/week), for US Citizens or Green Card holders
