Role Description
This is a full-time Construction Manager role with Permitting Experience and a General Contractor (GC) License. The role is based in Jacksonville but will need to work in Tampa and the Orlando area, with opportunities for remote work depending on project needs. The Construction Manager will oversee construction projects, manage permitting processes, ensure compliance with construction safety standards, coordinate budgets and resources, and maintain strict project control. The role involves team supervision and ensuring all project deadlines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Knowledge and experience in Budgeting and Project Control to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of projects
- Proficiency in Construction Safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and practices
- Active General Contractor (GC) License and experience managing permitting processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in residential or commercial construction is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, a bonus.
