As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. The Controller will play a key role in building scalable accounting processes, improving financial accuracy, and supporting leadership through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all day-to-day accounting operations
- Oversee month-end close, general ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow oversight
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Build and optimize accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Partner with leadership on performance metrics and unit-level profitability
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
- Implement financial best practices for multi-unit or restaurant operations
- Assist in building an internal accounting team as the organization scales
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, preferred
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Multi-unit, restaurant, or hospitality experience, strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
