As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to help patients regain strength, improve mobility, and return to their highest level of function.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Assist Physical Therapists in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Administer therapeutic modalities, including massage, traction, and ultrasound treatments
- Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting recovery and independence
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state Physical Therapy Assistant license or American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of full-time Physical Therapy Assistant experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Lifeguard Certification
