Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives, elevate brand presence, and drive demand generation.. Your expertise will be instrumental in expanding our reach, engaging target audiences, and supporting business growth through innovative marketing strategies. Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Manage events from conception through completion, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Create and maintain annual event calendars and schedules.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, invitations, registration, catering, technology, décor, promotional materials, and transportation.
  • Build HubSpot forms and design event email campaigns and invitations.
  • Manage the RSVP process, including guest communications and attendance tracking.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring successful execution.
  • Welcome and register guests at seminars and events.
  • Coordinate event setup, breakdown, inventory management, and storage of event materials.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting, including ROI tracking and attendee analysis.
  • Research new event opportunities, venues, and innovative experiences.

Marketing Management

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including email marketing, social media, website updates, podcast promotion, and public relations efforts.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between SHP leadership and marketing partners, including tMedia Consulting, Triad Partners, Financial Marketing Pros, LeadingResponse, radio partners, and other vendors.
  • Provide content and approvals for blogs, newsletters, podcasts, guides, SHP News, and weekly email campaigns.
  • Manage social media strategy and execution across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Coordinate website updates and digital campaigns.
  • Review and manage advertising opportunities and vendor relationships.
  • Approve and monitor digital marketing budgets and expenditures.

Lead Management & Business Development Support

  • Monitor lead sources and tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Oversee CRM event opportunities and ensure appropriate follow-up activity.
  • Schedule appointments generated from seminars and marketing events.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of SHP products and services to support business development efforts.
  • Provide presentation feedback to advisors and support event sales initiatives.

Vendor, Compliance & Financial Management

  • Manage relationships with external marketing and media vendors.
  • Coordinate bi-weekly and quarterly meetings with key marketing partners.
  • Ensure all marketing materials receive compliance approval prior to launch.
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses.
  • Process advertising and media invoices, including radio and television billing.
  • Maintain compliance with legal, insurance, health, and safety requirements.

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate event and marketing needs across all SHP departments.
  • Partner with advisors, leadership, compliance, operations, and marketing vendors to ensure successful execution.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve client experience, event quality, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on B2B marketing, digital marketing, and demand generation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in managing marketing campaigns across social media advertising campaigns, email marketing, print advertising, and web analytics reporting.
  • Oversee content marketing efforts including content writing, copywriting, and graphic design to produce engaging materials that enhance brand awareness.
  • Implement and optimize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to streamline campaign management and improve data-driven decision making.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively while ensuring ROI on advertising sales initiatives and performance marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with product management and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns that support e-commerce growth and product launches.
  • Monitor industry trends, conduct research, analyze web analytics data (using tools like Google Analytics), and report on campaign performance to inform strategic adjustments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing marketing, advertising or public relations teams with a focus on digital channels.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, social media marketing (including Facebook Advertising), Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, (Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress, HTML basics, and graphic design principles.
  • Demonstrated success in executing multichannel marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for managing customer relationships and supporting sales initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while fostering team collaboration across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making; adept at interpreting web analytics reports for continuous improvement.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated success planning and executing professional events and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot is strongly preferred.

Pay: $84,259.02 - $101,473.23 per year
