- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating chart and reservations effectively to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize POS systems (such as Aloha POS) to manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.
- Provide support during busy times to enhance guest relations and service quality.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations and guest services is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
