Position Summary:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for programming and operating cutting equipment to ensure precise yields and exceptional craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program saws to create proper material yields.

• Maintain specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, adjusting controls, and replacing blades.

• Prepare machines for production and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.

• Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and work areas.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Friday: 7:00 a.m. until production is complete (no later than 5:00 p.m.)

• Rare Saturdays

General Requirements:

Showplace provides job-specific training prior to assigning employees to their position. We are looking for candidates who either possess or are willing to acquire the following skills:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Basic reading and writing skills

• Computer fluency

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and loud environment

• Willingness to obtain forklift certification

Equipment & Tools Used:

Holzma saw, Selco saw, forklift

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Safety glasses and ear plugs (provided)
