We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensures the smooth operation of production equipment and facility infrastructure by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical systems, basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. The technician plays a key role in maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards across the production environment.
What you will be responsible for:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
- Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using observation and testing tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Determine dimensional changes in parts using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments.
- Paint and repair doors, walls, and floors.
- Install and repair computer outlets, light fixtures, and cables.
- Perform minor repairs to furniture and office fixtures.
- Move furniture, file cabinets, and equipment as needed.
- Repair faucets, unclog drains, and replace valves and seals.
- Maintain and repair sprinkler systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as relocating fixtures and installing outlets.
- Execute tasks involving painting, concrete work, masonry, and carpentry.
- Build walls, hang doors and windows, and perform moderate construction tasks.
- Safely operate drills, buffers, grinders, sanders, and various power saws.
- Use tools effectively for repairs and installations.
- Meets attendance expectations as outlined in the employee handbook
- All other duties assigned by supervisor.
What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with printer maintenance, especially large-format printers such as HP latex highly referred
- Proficiency in operating power tools including drills, miter saws, circular saws, and table saws
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and technical diagrams
- Solid understanding of general mechanics and equipment functionality
- Familiarity with materials and methods used in carpentry, ground maintenance, and basic plumbing
- Competence in moderate construction tasks such as building walls.
- Knowledge of proper safety practices and procedures in a production and maintenance environment
- Ability to follow safety protocols while operating tools and performing repairs
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying root causes
- Capable of adapting to a variety of maintenance tasks across different areas of the facility
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicle check

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend squat, and reach with arms and/or hands to access inventory, machines, hand tools, power tools and operate equipment; climb ladders, work at heights with appropriate safety measures. Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in a production / warehouse/ shipping environment primarily with moderate to high noise levels. Hearing protection is provided and must be worn at all times in certain high-volume areas. Will also work in an office environment as needed where they will be exposed to moderate noise levels. Will frequently need to lift up to 50lbs. alone, occasionally 50-100 lbs. with assistance as a team lift.

The national pay range for this role is $25 - $33 per hour. This position is also eligible for a shift differential for working on second shift. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to hourly pay the total compensation package also includes participation in a profit-sharing program.
