We are a quality driven, medical marijuana dispensary seeking an energetic and outgoing personality to join our team. If you are a self-motivated individual, who has the desire to learn and help others, we are looking for you. We strive to bring the best possible service and care to our patients every day. We are looking to employ a knowledgeable and experienced budtender, to assist patients in selecting suitable cannabis products that meet their needs and drive sales all at the same time.
Responsibilities of a budtender include:
- Be on TIME!
- Take pride in your role and maintain a positive environment for patients and co-workers.
- Greet each patient with enthusiasm and provide top-tier customer service.
- Provide patients with excellent, compassionate customer service to create repeat business by developing long term relationships.
- Educate patients about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates.
- Make recommendations to patients based on their needs.
- Communicate with managers regarding patient, product, and supply issues.
- Maintains a hygienic appearance.
- Upselling
- Maintains clean and sanitary restrooms.
- Manage down time properly: Cleaning, Showroom upkeep, product display upkeep, inventory checks, safe audits, expand product knowledge, stocking shelves, etc.
- Informs manager of progress on assigned tasks in a timely manner. Asks for help if needed to complete tasks successfully.
- Utilize store POS system accurately to perform sales and process payments.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store, stock supplies, and ensure store is in excellent condition both internally and externally.
- Verify proper documentation of each patient.
- Manage accurate filing of transport manifests, digitizing of invoices, accurate cost reporting in POS, other clerical duties as assigned by management.
- Follow compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
To be considered, you must:
- MUST HAVE OMMA CREDENTIALS
- Be at least 18 years or older with a valid OMMA credential.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Be able to work flexible hours (Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays)
- Have basic knowledge of cannabis or have worked at another dispensary.
- Be able to handle money and operate a POS system.
- Be able to multitask in a high-volume, fast paced work environment.
- Work well with others.
- Be able to carry at least 30 pounds.
