What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Showboat Retirement Center?
We are looking for someone who enjoys serving people, to work in a smaller Assisted Living Facility. You will be serving meals to roughly 25 residents. Experience is helpful but work ethic and reliability are most important. We are happy to train the right candidate. We serve family style meals so if you can cook at home you can cook here! The job starts at $11.00 depending on experience, and you'll have the option to work full or part time, and we offer overtime opportunties.
Responsibilities:
- Prep, prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the daily menu
- Assist in properly labeling, covering and storing unused food after each meal
- Maintain food temperature and cleaning logs
- Maintain a clean kitchen and dining room
- Serve residents with a good attitude
- Buss and reset tables in the dining room following meals
Qualifications:
- High standards for cleanliness
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Experience preferred but we will train the right candidate
- Must pass a TB test
- Must pass a Background Check'
