SUMMARY:
The Account Executive -West Coast at Show Me Your Mumu is responsible to manage and grow specialty retail accounts throughout the West Coast territory, leveraging existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to drive brand expansion. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that offers the opportunity to work with a creative, collaborative team and represent a beloved contemporary women’s fashion brand. They will participate in all major trade shows, regional markets, and events, travel throughout the territory to visit accounts, present seasonal collections, and support sell-through. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to align on inventory, merchandising, and sales strategy, while also providing exceptional service and insight to our retail partners. A strong understanding of the West Coast retail landscape and a passion for building lasting client relationships are key to success in this position. This role is hybrid and usually works some days remotely each week. Individuals must be within commuting distance of the Mumu HQ in Downtown Los Angeles.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive wholesale sales growth for territory by identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market presence by in-person prospecting and cold-calling potential clients.
- Sell Mumu seasonal collections, close sales and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through excellent service and regular communication.
- Regularly meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas and performance benchmarks.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Understand the unique needs of each client and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the management team.
- Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
- Travel to tradeshows required, visiting current customers, and prospecting for new business.
- Attend sales meetings, virtual or in-person when requested.
- Schedule sales appointments for trade shows
- Conduct sales appointments
- Work with customer service to handle all issues that may arise
- Ensure that the on-order and committed receipts are delivered on time to support forecasts. Identify risks and drive action plans.
- Create and maintain reports for the team as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wholesale sales for a Women’s Fashion Contemporary Brand or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related work experience
- Must have experience using NuOrder
- Full Circle Systems or ERP systems experience a PLUS
- Professional experience with Planning and Merchandising applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills necessary
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Able to independently organize and prioritize broad workload to meet deadlines.
COMPENSATION:
$64,000.00 To $82,000.00 Annually Depending on Experience
