Fairfield Inn & Suites Waycross is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations, team performance, guest satisfaction, and financial results. The ideal candidate is a strong hospitality leader who can build a high-performing team, maintain Marriott brand standards, and drive revenue and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Hire, train, coach, schedule, and motivate associates to deliver excellent service.
- Manage labor, expenses, inventory, and other operating costs to meet financial goals.
- Drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue performance in partnership with sales and revenue teams.
- Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to protect guest satisfaction and online reputation.
- Review performance reports, forecast needs, and implement action plans to improve results.
- Build strong relationships with owners, corporate leadership, vendors, and the local community.
Qualifications
- Prior hotel General Manager experience preferred, ideally in select-service or Marriott-branded hotels.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service, staffing, and financial management.
- Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and revenue performance goals.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- High school diploma required; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
