What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at Show Me Chimney?
A chimney technician at Show Me Chimney performs inspections of chimney systems, which typically include a sweep of the chimney flue, and takes care of minor to medium sized repairs and installations for a variety of services.
No prior industry specific experience is required, however, preference will be given to applicants with experience in blue collar work where you use your hands and are not afraid to get dirty.
Applicants should be ready to work for a company where honesty, work ethic, and integrity are valued above all else. Those are things we do not compromise on and expect daily from ourselves and our employees.
New hires can expect to undergo 1-2 weeks of on the job training after which most of the work will be done solo or in pairs. The training period is compensated at a starter rate of $15/hr.
Hires will be given an incentive structure with goals and milestones that can be hit over the course of employment to trigger raises in salary along with an increase in responsibility.
