ShortStop Convenience Stores stock items such as our house-made burritos and sandwiches, chips, snack bars, trail mixes, and bottled drinks to make it simple for those on road trips to replenish their strength. This small chain of Colorado stores is family-owned by the Dageenakis brothers, Tony and Jeff, with multiple locations in Boulder. The first ShortStop Convenience Store was opened in 1956 by John Dageenakis, Tony and Jeff’s father. Our family atmosphere helps ensure a warm welcome and great attitude towards our employees.
**This job posting is for a part-time weekend cashier position at our 75th & Arapahoe location **
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers
- Handle register transactions
- Balance cash register
- Perform end of shift drawer close out procedures
- Opening & closing duties
- Make & maintain coffee stations
- Restock inventory
- Honor coupons
- Handle refunds
- Maintain important receipts for daily report
- Handle customer questions
- Keep checkout/merchandise/bathroom areas tidy & clean
- Perform outdoor cleaning – pumps, trash cans, sweeping
- Comply with health and safety regulations
