Position: Interior Design & Property Setup Specialist
Location: Metro Boston (Brookline, Cambridge, Brighton, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, South End)

We are a fast-growing furnished rental company looking for a versatile and creative team player to help design, furnish, and maintain our rental properties. The ideal candidate has an eye for interior design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish while staying within budget. Candidate will manage cleaning crew , work side by side with our maintenance team, keep track of inventory and attend team meetings to assist with improving operations.

Responsibilities:

• Take on design projects from concept to completion for new units.
• Fully set up properties “head to toe,” including kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, and common areas.
• Utilize furniture and décor from storage and order additional pieces as needed.
• Work with the maintenance team to coordinate pick-up, delivery, and assembly of furniture, and guide placement of wall décor, blinds, etc.
• Collaborate with cleaners to ensure properties are guest-ready and consistently presentable.
• Reorganize and restage existing units as needed (e.g., kitchen organization, inventory checks, replacements).
• Monitor unit conditions and identify items that need repair or replacement.
• Research, source, and purchase materials and furnishings within budget.
• Oversee project timelines and costs, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience decorating and staging interior spaces.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Creative eye for design and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to direct and supervise maintenance staff and cleaners.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks to support property readiness.
