You’re the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who keeps food fresh, hot, and ready to go. Your day is all about prepping, cooking, and keeping the kitchen clean—helping deliver the fast, friendly service our guests expect at Short Stop.
No experience? No problem! We’ll train you on everything you need to know so you can build skills and succeed with us.
What You’ll Do as a Kitchen Team Member:
Prepare and cook fresh food items quickly and accurately
Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely
Keep the kitchen, prep areas, and equipment clean and organized
Follow recipes and portion standards to ensure quality and consistency
Prep ingredients, measure items, and stock cooking stations
Work on multiple orders at once while keeping pace with demand
Package and serve food items for customers or team members
Keep food service areas stocked and ready for every shift
Help maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Support your team to keep things running fun, fast, friendly, and clean
