Role Description This part-time Occupational Therapist role is an on-site position located in Augusta, GA. The Occupational Therapist will provide pediatric assessment and treatment, including developing individualized therapy plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and documenting progress in accordance with clinic standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with families and caregivers, offering parent coaching, and coordinating care with other professionals to promote skill carryover at home, school, and in the community. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in team meetings, and contributing to a positive, engaging therapy environment aligned with SHORS Rehabilitation Services’ pediatric focus.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric clinical settings.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine and related health sciences to support safe, evidence-based practice.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Pediatrics, including child development and family-centered care.
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT or OTR/L) in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program; pediatric fieldwork or prior pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to provide on-site care, manage a part-time caseload, and maintain thorough, timely documentation.
