Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials within the warehouse. This role supports daily operations by receiving, organizing, picking, packing, shipping and delivering inventory while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Assures procedures
operate within the framework of organizational goals and objectives.
2. OPERATIONS: Responsible for warehouse maintenance which includes organizing new orders, making sure products are put in the proper area, repackaging products, product consolidation, equipment maintenance, inventory reports, interal product transfers, emptying trash, recycling, shoveling and making sure that certain areas are free of snow. Helping customers with pickup orders and making lube deliveries to customers. Additionally, preparing larger orders for the delivery drivers to increase efficiency. Will assist in closing procedures for all warehouses as well as any and all duties to support Shoreside Petroleum as a whole.
3. SAFETY ASSURANCE: Inspects terminal facility to assure safe working conditions, communicate any safety concerns. Explains and conveys safety plans and procedures to visitors, vendors, agency officials, customers and Tesoro employees from other facilities. Review and maintain knowledge of Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDS).
4. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Iis an essential job function requiring the employee to plan, track, maintain, and control inventory to ensure accuracy, availability, and cost efficiency while supporting operational and organizational needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
Experience: Knowledge of oil & lubes preffered. Must have previous money handling, credit card and cash register experience. Must have general knowledge of accounting procedures.
Licensure/Certification: Class B drivers license preferred. If not already licensed or certificated, must be able to acquire propane certificate within 30 days of hire in addition to a TWIC and Port pass. Must have or attain a Driver’s medical card.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to work cooperatively with others. Must possess the ability to make decisions
according to pre-defined guidelines. Must possess a desire to perform at a high level by doing more than required.
Attendance: Regular attendance is a requirement of this position. Position will be Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 5:00
perespectively.
