Housekeeper
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Shores Nursing and Rehab Center in Port St. Joe, Florida. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
Empty and sanitize ash trays, bathrooms, and other areas
Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
Clean and wash windows, mirrors, and walls
Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, and other substances from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions
Discard waste and trash properly and reline trash receptacles
Maintain documentation, such as cleaning logs, as directed
Report issues and concerns to supervisors and assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
Ability to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
