Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Stocking deliveries
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
- Assist in visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Maintain a clean store environment
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math concepts are essential for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus.
