Shoreline Transportation of Alabama, a fast-growing regional and local truck carrier is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Terminal Administrator. Shoreline is looking for highly motivated individuals with a proven track record of success in transportation. This position will report directly to the Director of Recruiting ensuring the company meets hiring goals, as well as remains in DOT compliance within the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation guidelines.
Responsibilities:
· Administer orientation and on-boarding for new hires
· Perform road tests.
· Ensure driver files are compliant within regulation guidelines, including but not limited reviewing driver on-boarding records and verifications of employment.
· Assist with driver annual reviews and monthly driver violation summary letters.
· Assist Shoreline and its affiliates (Tri-National LLC & Gulf Coast Intermodal LLC) DOT Drug and Alcohol program.
· Work closely with Shoreline and its affiliates Recruiting, Operation & Safety Departments.
· Assist the day-to-day operations of the Terminal
Requirements:
· Class A CDL preferred.
· Possess a knowledge of DOT regulations in transportation.
· Knowledge of FMCSR Regulations.
· Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
· Possess proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook , Tenstreet and AS400
· Self-motivated and detail orientated.
· Demonstrate the ability to manage stress, multitask and prioritize.
· Prior supervision of drivers, a plus.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
