We are a well-established irrigation and lawn care company serving residential and commercial clients throughout southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island. Our company provides irrigation installation, maintenance, and plant health/ turf care services, operating multiple field technicians and service crews throughout the region.
We are looking for a dependable and organized Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator to help manage incoming customer requests, schedule service work, and support daily office operations.
This role is critical in keeping our technicians productive and ensuring customers receive excellent service.
Position Overview
The Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming customer calls, scheduling irrigation service appointments, and coordinating communication between customers, office staff, and field technicians.
The ideal candidate is organized, friendly with customers, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Answer incoming customer phone calls and emails
- Assist customers with scheduling service requests
- Provide updates regarding service appointments and technician arrival times
- Maintain a professional and friendly customer experience
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule irrigation service appointments and organize technician routes
- Communicate schedule updates to technicians and customers
- Coordinate daily service schedules with office manager and field staff
- Ensure service tickets and job notes are properly entered
Administrative Support
- Enter and maintain customer information in company software
- Assist with invoicing and customer account updates
- Process customer payments and billing inquiries
- Maintain organized customer records and service history
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Comfortable answering phones and managing multiple tasks
- Basic computer proficiency (email, scheduling software, office programs)
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Prior office, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in a service-based business is a plus
