This role works closely with employees and applicants to ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Educate and communicate company personnel policies and procedures to newly hired and current employees.
- Post open positions in the company’s recruitment system according to organizational hiring needs.
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding for newly hired employees, including employee handbook review, completion of employment documentation, and benefits enrollment.
- Create, maintain, and safeguard complete and confidential personnel files for all employees.
- Process, verify, and maintain documentation related to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, grievances, classifications, and employment status changes.
- Assist with benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, employee inquiries, claims resolution, and open enrollment activities.
- Establish and maintain departmental records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Respond to applicant inquiries in person, by phone, and via email in a professional and timely manner.
- Review and process employment applications to evaluate applicant qualifications and eligibility.
- Record and maintain employee data, including addresses, compensation, attendance, performance documentation, status changes, and separation details.
- Answer employee questions regarding eligibility, compensation, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Human Resources department.
