Position Summary: You will work under the direct supervision of the Shipping Coordinator and indirect supervision of the Logistics Manager. Provide excellent customer service by assuring finished goods are loaded onto outgoing trucks and/or staged in the warehouse in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
What You'll Do:
- Operate powered industrial equipment (hilo).
- Load finished goods onto outgoing trucks in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Stage finished goods in the warehouse.
- Provide support to manufacturing by moving products to and from production areas.
- Complete necessary paperwork associated with shipping and warehousing activities.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping in shipping and departments.
- Support and adhere to internal quality and safety programs.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and powered industrial equipment (hilo) certification.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand and twist over long periods of time.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and motivational skills.
- Ability to maintain diplomacy, confidentiality and tact essential, as individual has access to high levels of cost, design and company sensitive materials.
- Must be able to work with frequently changing priorities.
- Flexibility to potentially work overtime during week and/or weekends
- Safety Toe Footwear (ASTM F2413 - I/C (Impact and Compression) and Slip Resistant)
