Job Summary
The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the Club’s facilities. This role ensures that member and guest areas, including locker rooms, dining spaces, event venues, and public areas, are clean, sanitized, and welcoming at all times. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional service in a hospitality focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean and maintain all assigned areas of the Club including restrooms, locker rooms, lounges, offices, gym, dining areas, and meeting spaces.
· Dust, Vacuum, Sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms; replenish paper products, soap, and other products.
· Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
· Maintain cleanliness of entrances, hallways, stairways, and other public areas.
· Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to management.
· Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly.
· Provide courteous and professional interactions with members, guests, and fellow employees.
· Assist in preparing for special events and support the setup and breakdown of events as needed.
· Assist with seasonal deep-cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma preferred.
· Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, hospitality, or country club environments preferred.
· Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
· Availability for evening shifts, weekends, and flexible scheduling as required.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
· Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach and lift up to 35 pounds.
· Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments as needed.
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
