Shoreham Bank is seeking an entry level staff accountant for a position with opportunity for advancement. Full time position with generous benefits package.
Responsibilities will include:
· Account reconciliation.
· Preparation and posting of journal entries.
· General bookkeeping and assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.
· Support for various accounting initiatives and special projects.
· Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree required (Upcoming or recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply).
· Must believe in teamwork and be driven to succeed.
· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage time and meet deadlines
· Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Office and/or similar software.
