Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed
- Support catering events by handling dishware and assisting with setup and cleanup for banquets or large functions
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearance of used items and smooth workflow during busy periods
- Keep inventory of dishwashing supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Experience with food handling, cleaning, or catering operations is a plus
- Familiarity with banquet or hotel service environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly
