Our successful surgery clinic is looking for full-time or part-time Veterinary Technician to join our practice! Shore Pet Surgery has been offering low cost, high quality surgical services to the community since 2008. Veterinary Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting our Veterinarians
- Utilize proper animal restraint
- Administering injections
- Placing IV catheters
- Monitor patients (pre-operative and post-operative)
- Cleaning and sterilization of surgical packs
- Blood draws
- Prepare medications
- Provide high quality customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of our hospital
- Communicate with owner‘s regarding their animals
*This position is physically demanding requiring applicants to stand for long periods of time and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs*
Wages and Benefits:
- Starting pay is $18.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours/Work Schedule: Full-time employees must be available to work at least 36 hours per week. Our hours of operations are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm. Emergency surgeries are not uncommon and will require employees to stay after hours at times. All potential new hires are required to pass a criminal background check and drug test. some experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
