What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Care Coordinator position at Shore Pet Cremation?
Shore Pet Cremation, a leading provider of pet cremation services on the Eastern Shore, is in search of a Pet Care Coordinator to help grow our current client base and provide the compassionate and friendly care our customers have come to expect. The duties of this position include:
- Creating social media content and other marketing materials to promote pet cremation services
- Providing in-person information about cremation offerings to veterinary professionals and the community at large
- Meeting with pet parents experiencing loss
- Promoting pet cremation and related services
- Transportation of pets to our facilities and crematory in a company provided vehicle.
- Oversight and participation in on call schedule, including telephone and transportation work. Additional compensation may be available for this duty.
The ideal candidate is an energetic go-getter who is passionate about pets and has found success in independent work environments. Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills are a must. Creativity and problem solving play a large part in this role. Prior experience in marketing and promotion and a love of pets will all be a plus. High School or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required. Training specific to the pet cremation industry will be provided so prior experience with pet loss care is not necessary. This role does not involve performing the actual cremation of pets.
