As a Respite Worker, you'll support children and adultswith intellectual or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities—giving family caregivers peace of mind and a needed break.
What You'll Do:
- Support individuals on community outings, at home, or in group settings.
- Build positive connections and assist with daily activities and goals.
- Maintain clear notes and follow individualized care plans.
What We're Looking For:
- Caring, reliable, and patient individuals.
- Experience in developmental disabilities or relevant coursework (preferred).
- Strong communication and sound judgment.
Full training provided! (CPR, First Aid, Person-Centered Practice, and more).

Requirements
Must clear all background checks and registry screenings required by Shore and the State of Illinois before any contact with a person served, and maintain clearance throughout.
Valid driver;s license and current automobile insurance required to transport a person served. Shore must have both on file before any transportation occurs.
DSP certification not required, but preferred
