Position Summary:
The Retail Appliance Sales Associate is responsible for helping customers find the right appliances for their home by providing knowledgeable recommendations, excellent customer service, and a friendly, professional experience. This role includes guiding customers through product features, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth buying process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their appliance needs
- Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and comparisons
- Demonstrate appliances and explain functionality
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, promotions, and warranties
- Assist customers with financing, delivery scheduling, and service inquiries
- Keep sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Build long-term customer relationships through follow-up and service
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred (appliance or electronics sales a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn technical product details
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills
