Qualifications
- Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida; graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable treatment goals, and implement client-centered interventions in post-acute or long-term care settings.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize caseload and adjust treatment plans based on resident progress.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, including nursing, therapy, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in documentation, EMR systems, and understanding of reimbursement guidelines, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards relevant to rehabilitation services.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards, resident dignity, and a person-centered approach to care; openness to ongoing learning, mentoring, and participation in on-site education programs.
- Experience in sub-acute, long-term care, or similar settings is preferred; clinical experience
