Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a CNA at Shore Acres, you’re more than a caregiver — you’re a vital part of our residents’ comfort, dignity, and well-being. You’ll work alongside a supportive nursing team in a collaborative, respectful environment where your contributions are valued.
What You’ll Do
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility)
- Deliver meals and assist residents with dining needs
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Offer comfort measures such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
- Support nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Build meaningful connections with residents and families
- Respond calmly and confidently in fast-paced or critical situations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Active CNA certification (state-required)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills with compassionate bedside manner
- Team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask while maintaining safety and professionalism
