Job Summary As a Cloud Administrator, you'll be in charge of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it runs smoothly, securely, and scalable. You will manage cloud environments (mainly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), diagnose difficulties, and adopt best practices to meet our expanding business demands. This position entails working with development and operations teams to maintain dependable, efficient cloud services while keeping costs under control. It's ideal for a tech enthusiast who appreciates problem solving and staying on top of cloud trends. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, networks, and databases, to guarantee maximum availability and performance. - Automate and deploy cloud resources with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. - Implement security measures like as access controls, encryption, and GDPR/HIPAA compliance. - Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related difficulties, using root cause analysis to avoid future problems. - Reduce cloud costs by utilizing resource tagging, rightsizing, and reserved instances. - Work with cross-functional teams to move on-premises apps to the cloud and manage DevOps processes. - Conduct regular audits, backups, and disaster recovery plans. - Stay current on upcoming cloud technology and suggest ways to improve efficiency. Skills - Expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell); knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with networking, firewalls, and VPNs; and knowledge with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, GitLab). - Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, effective communication for team cooperation, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced workplace. - Certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, and Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect. Education & Experience - A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline (or comparable job experience). - 2-5 years of hands-on expertise with cloud or systems administration. - Proven track record of managing production cloud environments. - Relevant certificates are highly valued and may substitute for some experience. Annual Pay The yearly basic income for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, location in the United States, and credentials.
