POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development and execution of concepts and designs for all marketing channels as well as point of sale.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESIGN
- Design and execute effective and on-brand creative for direct mail, point of sale, internal marketing, emails, web pages, social media, banner ads and other digital elements used to market Fielmann USA brands
- Ensure aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams during all stages to ensure consistency of branding across all customer touchpoints
- Present concepts and design solutions for review and approval
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to support concepts
- Thoroughly review work and execute accurately within creative standards
- Propose new ideas to inspire art direction
PRODUCTION
- Monitor key production dates from initial direction through release and meet all established deadlines
- Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines in a process-driven environment
- Ensure design standards are consistently followed
- Complete changes from edits and internal feedback accurately and timely
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of graphic design experience
- Minimum associate degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts or related program
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe graphic programs with an emphasis on Adobe editing suites including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Demonstrated experience in digital design with a digital portfolio
- Able to edit HTML email templates that render consistently across multiple clients and browsers
- Solid understanding of four-color printing process
- Excellent graphic design/layout/typography skills
- Strong conceptual skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting different deadlines
- Collaborative personality and the ability to work within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)
- Ability to see (Near, Distance, Color, and Depth Perception)
- Able to evaluate color
- Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds
- Able to view/read computer screen for extended periods of time
- Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines
- Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
